Why would I want to help someone?

Altruism.

Since you have the choice of following the people that you care about the most on Viewpointr, we hope you answer questions because you're trying to be helpful, friendly and show social goodness. In fact, according to Research Report conducted by researchers at Microsoft and MIT, 37% of questions asked on the internet are also answered as a result of altruism. Be helpful to others, and they will be helpful to you.

How do I help someone on Viewpointr?

There are two ways to help someone on Viewpointr:

1. Reply to their question / request with your viewpoint.

2. Point them to friend who you think can help.

How will I find out if there's a new request?

You will be notified via an email notification when someone you're helping has asked a new question. Additionally, you'll also get an email notification when someone has ponted you a request that they think you can help out with.

I'm not clear on who will be helping me. Anybody or just my helpers?

Anybody could help you. Especially, since you can automatically share your requests on Twitter and Facebook with one-click. Your friends and followers can be your helpers.

Why don't I just message people or use my status message in Facebook or Twitter? This is what people do now.
